It is said that Amami Kiyo is a safe haven that opened in the hills. An ancient sacred place that is more famous as a shrine site than the usual Gusuku.
Amami Kiyo, who landed in Yaharazukasa, had temporarily lived in Hamagawa Sacred Site, but eventually advanced to the hills. He built a gusuku (castle) and settled here as a safe haven.
And it is said that the descendants prospered here and spread throughout Okinawa. There are many legends about Minton, such as the opening of Kudaka Island, the origin of rice, and the first import of pigs into Okinawa.
On the other hand, in the shade of rocks and small caves near the top of Gusuku, there is a place of worship called a sacred tomb, which has been famous as a ritual site since ancient times. From the surrounding area, stone axes, pieces of earthenware from the mid-Okinawa shell mound period, and shells are collected.
It is a pilgrimage site around the eastern part of the country, and it is also a designated historic site cultural property of the prefecture. I want to be very worried so as not to bother you.
