It is said that Amamikiyo landed on the main island and was the first place to do so. The stone monument is submerged in the sea at high tide and becomes invisible, and at low tide, it is revealed in its entirety.

A place of worship in Hamagawara for 100 people. It is said that the Ryukyu ancestral god Amamikiyo came from Niraikanai (a utopia where the gods live far away in the sea), landed on Kudaka Island, and then landed on the main island.

Yaharazukasa is a stone monument made of Ryukyu limestone, and an incense burner has been installed at the bottom of the stone monument for some time. At high tide, it is submerged in the sea and is invisible, and at low tide, it reveals its full form.

Therefore, it cannot be crossed only at low tide, and it is not possible to worship up close.

It is said that Amamikiyo traveled from here in Yaharazukasa via Hamakawa Ontake to Mintongusuku, Tamaki Gusuku, and Chinen Gusuku.

A stone monument stands on the other side of the pure sandy beach and gentle waves, and on the left and east sides of the sacred Kudaka Island, you can also see it.
