It was built by Shoko and Shotoshi son, and it was made a residence. On the ruins of Gusuku, a temple dedicated to shobashi's family is built. Also known as "Kami gusuku"

Here you will find the ruins of the castle of shoshi shoshi and shohashi father and son who achieved the unification of the Ryukyu Three Mountains.

It is said that all the stones of the castle were carried to the castle when osato Gusuku was attacked in the process of the three mountains unification, the residence was moved from Sashiki Gusuku, and Nakayama Castle was attacked and destroyed, and it moved, and the rampart etc. of the masonry seen in other Gusuku in Okinawa have not been discovered yet.

The holy place is located with a good view of the torii gate in the mountains, and you can see Kudaka Island in the distance.

Taking the opportunity of shobashi's 500th anniversary, a shrine was erected that enshrined eight bodies: Samigawa Daito, Shokosuke, Shotoshi, Shochu, Shoshin, Shoshin, Shoganfuku, and Shotoku.

The name comes from the guardian deity of The First Shoji clan's king "Tsukishiro". Because it is built at the tip of the plateau, it is also called "Kamigusuku".
