A family-friendly beach where you can enjoy wildlife watching. It is a famous place for glass boats in Tamaki in Nanjo City, southern Okinawa. It is written as Niihara and read as "mebaru", and "me" means "new" in the Okinawan dialect.

If you take a glass-bottom boat, you can enjoy watching the fish and corals swimming in the water as if you were holding them in your hands. The sandy beach itself is very wide, about 500 meters long, and the rocky area leads to the neighboring Hyakuna Beach.

The waves are shallow and the waves are gentle, so even children can spend a relaxing time. The scenery of large rocks gouged out below makes you feel like a beach in Okinawa.
